About the Role

LM Studio is the world's most popular desktop application for running AI locally. Graphical user interface is core to what people love about LM Studio and what makes us unique. In this role you will invent and implement new UIs for Human-AI interactions, some have not yet been possible until now.

As a Senior React Engineer working on LM Studio, you are expected to know the ins and outs of React, UI software organization best practices, JavaScript runtime details, and performance considerations.

Be a part of the LM Studio engineering team and ship graphical user interfaces for AI to millions of users worldwide. Invent new ways to achieve user goals with intuitive and performant UI. Leverage computer science and software engineering skills to make new user experiences with local AI not only possible but highly accessible to users with a wide range of backgrounds. Push the boundaries of our technology and your own knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years experience building, rebuilding, and debugging apps in React & TypeScript
• Experience with real time updating UIs
• Deep understanding of React and JavaScript performance considerations
• Excellent communication skills
• Love for software and computers

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of React internals
• Expertise in perf debugging tools and techniques
• Experience working on large React applications
• Experience authoring libraries
• Demonstrable talent for design

The expected salary range for this position is:

Annual Salary Range:

$150,000 - $350,000 USD
